Fantasy Formal
What is fantasy formal?
Our dress code combines the elegance of a formal wedding with creative, fairytale, or magical elements. It is not a costume party, but formal attire with an imaginative twist. Think of a subtle nod to a fairytale ball or a magical world, but elegant, not carnival-like. Elf ears, swords, lightsabers, and Mickey Mouse ears will be available at the Photobooth.
Inspiration for the ladies
- Long evening dress (can have a slit)
- A romper or jumpsuit can also be a good option if you don't feel comfortable in a dress.
- Glitters, embroidery, metallics, florals, and beautiful patterns.
- Statement jewelry and flowers or jewelry for your hair.
- All colors are allowed except white, ivory, or a floral print with a white background.
Inspiration for Men
- Pair of neat trousers/chinos with a nice blouse.
- Suspenders, pocket watch, flowers, and fun accessories.
- No jeans, t-shirts, or work clothes.
- All colors are allowed.
In case of extremely hot weather, short dresses, trousers, and short-sleeved blouses are of course permitted.
